ESG and ADSE sign memorandum of understanding on defence and security solutions

ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH and ADSE Consulting and Engineering B.V. have signed a memorandum of understanding which paves the way for purposeful cooperation in the defence and security market.
ADSE is a privately held leading engineering consultancy firm based in the Netherlands with focus on the key markets Aerospace, Defence, Rail and Maritime.
The two companies will collaboratively examine and investigate potential market opportunities to contribute further to the international cooperation between Germany and The Netherlands, focusing on projects in the land, sea and air domain.
This announcement, made during this year´s NEDS in Rotterdam was signed off by Alan Carson, Head of ESG´s AIR Division and Ron van Baaren, CEO of ADSE.  Alan Carson said: “We are sure, that the combination of ESG’s and ADSE’s capabilities, expertise and experience will lead to a strong service provision to the entire military ecosystem, thereby supporting the political and military ambitions from an industrial perspective. This MoU underlines the strong commitment of both companies to strengthen the close cooperation between Germany and The Netherlands. For ESG it is one next logical step in the implementation of its strategy of crossborder cooperation since the founding of ESG B.V. one year before.”

In turn, Van Baaren mentioned that “The relations between the Dutch and German Armed Forces continue to be strong, looking at the integration of multiple brigades from both countries and the recent joint program to acquire the Luftlande vehicle. As independent service providers, both ESG and ADSE see opportunities to strengthen their position to support Dutch and German military end-users as well as Defence industry. We are confident that the cooperation between ESG and ADSE will be to mutual benefit of both companies and the Dutch and German armed forces.”
