ESG has been awarded the top4women employer seal once again for 2019.
With the top4women badge, we want to show how important the issue of “women and careers” is to us. We reflect on our activities and are given recommendations for how we can continue to be proactive in developing measures that promote women and families.
Women should be able to have a successful career with us on an equal footing – our performance assessment procedures are gender-neutral and we already have a women’s quota for our programs (specialist, management and project career tracks). We want to encourage women to take on roles that match their potential and motivation. Our management tier is still very male-dominated. Women are said to offer a more cooperative style of leadership, responsibility, social intelligence and persuasiveness – all characteristics that we want to see in our managers.
By introducing new measures, we want to make it possible for women (and men) to combine a career with family life and thus to promote careers tailored to different phases of life.
