ESG receives ISO 27001 certificate based on BSI IT baseline protection

On 31 January 2024, ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH received the BSI IT-Grundschutz certificate for the "Provision and operation of a central hosting infrastructure" from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). As a result, ESG receives the ISO 27001 certificate based on BSI IT baseline protection, the three-year validity of which is maintained by annual external surveillance audits.

ESG offers its customers customised solutions that are operated in a hosting infrastructure. The ISO 27001 certificate in accordance with BSI IT baseline protection confirms that the hosting infrastructure is secured by applying BSI IT baseline protection in accordance with the state of the art. The information network comprises the provision and operation of this hosting infrastructure, including the necessary services. The audit was carried out by a certified auditor in accordance with the BSI certification scheme. As part of the audit, ESG’s IT infrastructure and its corresponding process landscape were examined to ensure that they fulfil the strict requirements of the BSI IT baseline protection.

This certification marks a significant milestone in the targeted further development of ESG's information security management system and proves that we fulfil the highest security standards - for the benefit of our customers and partners.
