ESG and VirtaMed announce strategic partnership

Combining simulation know-how for medical education and training in the armed forces and government agencies.

As part of a strategic partnership, ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH and Swiss company, VirtaMed AG, are combining their many years of experience and respective strengths in the field of simulation-based medical education and training.

In the future, both companies will jointly offer innovative, customer-specific and virtual reality-based simulation solutions for the training and continuing education of physicians and medical service personnel: tailored to the special requirements of the German Federal Armed Forces as well as other military and governmental customers in both the clinical and military-medical areas, from individual to group training.

In addition to the existing portfolio of simulators, both companies are developing new customized simulators and simulation environments for the particular needs of customers with mobile and stationary solutions. This creates individually usable platforms for purposeful and realistic training and continuing education in a safe environment.

With these solutions and services, ESG and VirtaMed not only contribute to maintaining, but also to sustainably increasing operational readiness and thus also to protecting military and civilian forces.
