Boeing, ESG partner for the German Heavy Lift Helicopter Competition

ESG joins Boeing’s H-47 Chinook Germany Industry Team - Agreement includes in-service support and lifecycle services.

Boeing and ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH today announced a teaming agreement during the Rotorcraft Forum that will support the H-47 Chinook offering to Germany’s STH (Schwerer Transporthubschrauber) heavy-lift helicopter competition. The agreement includes in-service support and various lifecycle services.

With this partnership, Boeing is expanding its in-service support network and leveraging ESG’s expertise in providing innovative and highly complex solutions to the German armed forces, including logistics service solutions, which are locally focused and will add efficiency, reliability and technology to the overall STH solution. ESG will join the Boeing network of highly skilled industry team members to support the STH throughout its lifecycle.

Boeing’s industrial plan will provide the German government with a local long-term support and training solution that includes aircraft maintenance, aircrew and technical training, research, development and technology solutions, and communication and mission systems integration.
