Training to become an IT specialist

As it is mainly male applicants who show an interest in our technical training places, but we want a healthy mix of women and men in the training programme; we would like to explicitly encourage young female school students and women to apply to get one of the training places offered by our company!

Who we are looking for

For the application development training we are looking for school students who have completed their intermediate school-leaving qualification or their general qualification for university entrance with good to very good grades. Also if you have realised during your computer science or electrical engineering degree that there is too little practical experience, our training places are just the right thing.

What we expect

We expect a school-leaving qualification with good to very good grades in mathematics and also the same in information technology with an intermediate school-leaving qualification. In addition, you should have a keen interest in IT and software and/or electronic-related topics. Some initial practical experience in programming, application development or software development is not a prerequisite, but quite beneficial for IT training.

For personal cooperation, we want applicants with a good general education who are dedicated, independent, reliable, motivated and flexible. Good communication skills and a good demeanour are also important. If this describes you and you can envisage undertaking your training at ESG, then we look forward to receiving your application.

What we offer

ESG offers you in-depth training with good prospects for the future as well as the appropriate support you need during your training period. The employees in the HR department are your first point of contact and are on hand as mentors to answers questions and provide the support you need during the entire training period. While you pass through various departments in order to get to know different areas and processes in the company, you will be supported by the team in which you are spending the respective part of your training.

In addition, ESG promotes cohesion and communication. We deliberately bring together young trainees and employees with advanced knowledge who have already completed their training and are now permanently employed by us. In addition, experienced trainees and those with particular skills in certain areas support their younger and less experienced colleagues and pass on their knowledge.

This enables our trainees to quickly form small and informal teams and build networks in the company. You can contact the right people or mentors if you have any questions or are unsure about anything. And you can be sure that they will always listen and help. In short, it is of great important to us that our trainees feel relaxed and in good hands from the outset in their new world of business practice.
