Strong companies under one roof – ESG Group has a new structure

To strengthen innovative power and develop additional opportunities - the new structure will make ESG even more agile and efficient.

In the course of its strategic development, ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH has for some time been developing three divisions that offer their different services under the brand names ESG DEFENCE + PUBLIC SECURITY, ESG MOBILITY and CYOSS.

Following this strategy, ESG recently spun off its ESG MOBILITY and CYOSS businesses into separate companies. The new companies were developed as 100% subsidiaries of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH and continue to enjoy all the benefits of the entire ESG Group, especially with regard to cross-divisional technology and know-how exchange and financial stability.

The CEO of CYOSS GmbH, which also owns the majority stake in RadarServices GmbH, is Christian Schwarz. The core topics that CYOSS deals with are cyber security, data analytics and IT services. As planned, Jörg Ohlsen took over from Wolfgang Sczygiol as Managing Director of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH as well as Managing Director of ESG MOBILITY GmbH on 1st October. Another Managing Director of ESG MOBILITY GmbH is Dagmar Griesmeier. Kai Horten continues to be responsible for the development of the entire ESG Group, with particular focus on ESG DEFENCE + PUBLIC SECURITY and CYOSS, as Managing Director of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH.

"With this purposeful further development of our company structure we can adjust ourselves even better to the specific needs and challenges of our customers and partners in different markets. We will become even faster, more agile and will be able to develop our innovations even more purposefully," says Kai Horten. "We are strengthening what has already made us successful and are also opening up additional opportunities - for the benefit of our more than 2,000 employees worldwide and for the benefit of our customers", Horten adds.

The new Managing Director Jörg Ohlsen also added his thoughts.: "I'm very much looking forward to the exciting challenges within the ESG Group, especially, of course, in connection with the worldwide automotive business. With the new structure and our strong teams, we're driving forward sustainable and profitable growth throughout the Group and actively shaping the future of mobility - we are creating a system for moving visions."

For five decades, ESG has been one of the leading companies in the development, integration and operation of complex, security-relevant electronic and IT systems. Around 2,000 employees of the ESG Group provide services in logistics, system development, training and consulting for customers from government agencies, as well as the defence and industrial sector in Germany and internationally under the three brands CYOSS (cyber security and data analytics), ESG DEFENCE + PUBLIC SECURITY and ESG MOBILITY.

As such, the ESG Group currently generates more than EUR 300 million in sales. Independent process and technology consulting is one of ESG's key capabilities. By enabling technology transfer between markets, we make a decisive contribution to the added value of our customers.
