A purposeful partnership for the mobility of tomorrow
Today, ESG, strategic partner to the global automotive industry at the interface between electrics/electronics and software/IT and with a focus on automated driving, eMobility and connected solutions, has announced a partnership for strategic projects with the global engineering company SEGULA Technologies (“Segula”).
The aim of the partnership is to support the largest automotive customers of the partner companies with an integrated offer for all engineering services. While Segula offers expertise in project management for entire vehicle work packages, ESG contributes many years of experience and extensive knowledge in the field of electrics/electronics and especially in the field of electric mobility. The market positions of both partners also complement each other: Segula is a global provider with offices in France, Spain, Brazil and China. On the other hand, with this partnership, ESG is strengthening its position as an established partner for the large German and international OEMs with its locations in Rüsselsheim, China and the USA.
The managing director of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH, who is responsible for the ESG MOBILITY brand, Wolfgang Sczygiol, said: “With Segula, ESG has found an ideal partner for pursuing its strategic goals for sustainable growth as a leading service provider at the interface between electrics and electronics, as well as software and IT, for the mobility of tomorrow.”
Laurent Germain, CEO of international business at Segula Technologies, said: “We are looking forward to the strategic partnership with ESG MOBILITY. It will bring Segula’s global presence and clout together with the digital expertise of ESG. By working together, we can better meet the ever more diverse needs of German and European customers and can guarantee a ‘made in Germany’ engineering service.”
ESG has been one of the leading German companies for the development, integration and operation of complex, security-related electronics and IT systems for over five decades and currently generates over 300 million EUR in sales. Almost 2,000 employees in ESG’s three business divisions--ESG DEFENCE + PUBLIC SECURITY, CYOSS (Cyber Security and Data Analytics), and ESG MOBILITY--provide customers from public authorities, defence, and industry in Germany and overseas, with services in the fields of logistics, system development, training, and consulting.
